Alexander Marine USA Acquires MarineMax San Diego
San Diego, California – October 4, 2017 – Alexander Marine USA, a west coast yacht brokerage and dealership specializing in yacht sales and aftercare is pleases to announce the acquisition of MarineMax San Diego, a yacht brokerage and dealer for Azimut, Galeon, and Aquila Yachts.
Alexander Marine International, the parent company of Alexander Marine USA and manufacturer of Ocean Alexander yachts, began a relationship with MarineMax in 2014, whereby MarineMax became the exclusive East Coast dealer for Ocean Alexander yachts. This relationship created a foundation for national association through distribution of Ocean Alexander yachts. The relationship between MarineMax and Alexander Marine continues to grow with Alexander Marine USA’s acquisition of MarineMax’s San Diego office. With the acquisition, Alexander Marine will also become a partner-dealer of MarineMax for certain West Coast markets. As such, Alexander Marine USA will now operate in three locations (Seattle, Newport Beach, and now San Diego) as MarineMax’s partner-dealer for Azimut, Galeon, and Aquila and continue to operate as the official dealer for Ocean Alexander yachts and Regal boats on the West Coast, Pursuit Boats in the Southwest and Tiara Yachts in the Northwest. The combination of Alexander Marine USA and MarineMax San Diego’s existing product offerings, brands, and resources, will put Alexander Marine USA in prime position to continue to grow as the leading new and brokerage yacht sales company on the US West Coast and to offer maximum benefits to our customers.
