Description & Details

She is a terrific example of the well respected and extremely robust 61 pilothouse model from the legendary OA shipyard. A true blend of what makes a NW style pilothouse cruiser great, she features both sizable exterior and interior spaces, lots of day light, galley “up”, stand up engine room and deep lazarette spaces. A true classic. The model line series includes the 54, the 58, the 61, the 64 and the 65. All exceptional in their own right and all sought after family cruising vessels.   • Highly skilled artisans at the Alexander Marine boatyard in Kaohsiung, Taiwan handcraft each Ocean Alexander 610 Pilothouse. The pride in their craft is obvious. Wood joints are glued and secured by screws, and plank teak decks have a clean look (no wood plugs). The counter tops lay flat, and all fiberglass surfaces have a polished gelcoat finish. The Ocean Alexander 610 Pilothouse is loaded with standard features, including modified semidisplacement hulls and planing hulls that deliver superior performance, comfort, and great fuel economy. This hand-laid fiberglass hull is constructed by our expert artisans using only the finest materials available. The unique balsa core technology - used on the hull sides, topside, and superstructure - adds strength, reduces vibration and noise, and is very watertight. Also, anti-fouling black paint is applied to the hull bottom. Other standard features include trim tabs, engine hour meters, hinged fiberglass radar mast, cedar-lined closets, deck lights, swim ladders, platforms, and lighted stairways.
